Ombre Powder Brows
NOT MY PHOTO
Ombre Powder Brows are fulfilled when shading is applied to the clients brows. We start the shading at the tail of the brow and work our way up to the head of the brow. At your discretion we can keep this brow soft and natural looking or bold as you like. This technique is acceptable for almost every skin-type. Results can last 1-2 years.
Recommended for those with excessively oily skin and little to no hair.
Combination Brows
NOT MY PHOTO
Combination Brows (AKA Blade & Shade) are similar to ombre powder brows. Same steps apply but with the addition of hair-like strokes to the beginning of the brow done by microblading. The hair strokes will gradually fade into a darker fuller brow. This technique is not for everyone. Someone with little to no brow hair will need to consider Ombre Powder because you will need some brow hair to blend in with the hair strokes that we implant.
Recommended for those who have some brow and but want to give them shape.
Booking Your Session
Once your appointment is booked:
- I will need a selfie. Fresh face, NO Filters, NO Smiling, and pull your hair from your face. Kind of like the headshot you take when getting your passport. With this I am able to see your brows. This is a "Brow Analysis" I can pre map the brows, see what you have already and spot any imperfections before your appt, and even give you the bad news if these services aren't a good option for you.
- 72 HOURS Leading up to your appointment:
- NO Caffeine or Alcohol(Thins blood and could cause excessive bleeding.)
- NO Exfoliators. (Products w/ glycolic acid, Retin A, Renova, and alpha hydroxyl acids.)
- NO plucking/waxing of the brow. Try getting them threaded.
- Also, If you have oily skin you can begin your day by cleansing your brow area with a alcohol wipe to help dry out the skin for an even better results.
- When you come in:
- We will discuss your brow goals and also determine which is your favorite brow. We will map your brows next. To insure your satisfaction the service WILL NOT begin until you approve the brows and we mutually agree on the brow shape.
- I will do an outline
- I will do one complete Pass (begin shading)
- A topical numbing gel is applied and sets for about 7-10 mins.
- We will continue building up the Ombré effect of the brow, with at least 3-4 more passes. No more then 5 at your initial service.
- We will discuss aftercare, healing and set up you 2nd session. ***Failure to book your 2nd session may interfere with the your desired look and the longevity of your new brows.***
What to Expect Next:
Day 1
There will be some redness which should go down after a few hours. You brows shall begin healing. TRUST THE PROCESS. Your brows will be c\changing alot for the next few days.
We recommend Dry Healing, meaning:
- NO Sweating
- NO Facials, Exfoliants, Light Therapy
- NO Ointment's/ Vaseline
- NO Sauna
- NO Water (wash your face and AROUND the brows)
- NO Swimming
- NO Sun/ Tanning
Not following the recommendations above could result in your brow loosing color or not healing properly. So therefore, no nothing on or near the brows. Leave them completely Dry and let them flourish.
Day 2
Don't freak-out. The color will appear darker than the previous day. Just like it would with a new tatt.
Day 3
The skin in the brow area will begin to scab. While we do recommend that you do a "dry heal" if you must use an ointment, please use Aquaphor.
Day 4-8
The area will continue to scab and eventually begin to shed. DO NOT PICK!! This can disrupt the healing process and also ruin you new brows.
Day 9
No more crusty brows. The shedding should be complete. Your brows may look faint, yet again TRUST THE PROCESS! The color will return.
Day 10-14
Your brows are healed externally! Now you can resume your normal facial activites. Washing and make up applications in the brow area. (Do not chemical peels and/or exfoliate directly over the brows.)
